Julia M. Linkous, 55, of Newcomerstown, passed away on Monday, April 8, 2024, with her daughter, Sheena, holding her hand, at Union Hospital, Dover. She was born October 23, 1968, in Coshocton, to Elmer and Johanna (Williams) Smart.Julia worked at Walmart for 17 years. She enjoyed riding her motorcycle with her sister Diana and Old Man Bill and watching her grandbabies play.
On November 13, 1989, Julia married Larry Linkous, who passed away on August 5, 2015. She is survived by her children, Jeremy Swinderman, Sheena (James) Teeters, and Brandy Linkous; her grandchildren, Cayden and Carter Hunt-Swinderman, Aryonna and Larry Swinderman, Caydence, Daxton, Dawson, Xander and Gabriel Morgan, Julia Linkous, and Crystal Reynolds, her great grandchildren, Akharionna, Ayson, Ahvoni, Brayden, and Keeylonna ; her siblings, Cheryl (Rich) Slasor, Debra (Dave) Watson, Alan Smart, Alex (Leanna) Smart, and Diana (Ben) Robinson.
Services for Julia will be held on Monday, April 15, 2024, at 1 pm at the Addy Funeral Home in Newcomerstown with Pastor Mike Kennedy officiating. Burial will follow at Kings Church Cemetery.
