June Esther (Kneuss) Meese, age 85, of Dennison, passed away surrounded by loved ones on Thursday, March, 17, 2022 in the care of Hospice at Dover Country Club Retirement Center. Born November 23, 1936, she was a daughter of the late Kenneth Edwin Kneuss and Ruth Mildred (Chaney) Hoover Roseberry.
June was the loving wife of Charles ‘Chuck’ Miller Meese who preceded her in death on May 28, 2007 after 53 years of marriage. They are survived by their children: Charles, Terry, Roxann, Marsha, Donna, Kim, Tim, and Sharon, along with many sons- and daughters-in-law. They were blessed with 19 grandchildren: Jackie, Chuck, Michael, Michelle, Terri, Joshua, Rusty, Rodney, Kyle, Marshanna, Roxanna, Terry, Daylenna, Adam, Dwayne, Maranda, Cory, Quinn, and Cayla, along with numerous step-grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. June was also blessed with a brother, Kenneth, and sisters, Donna, Sarah, Mary, Carol, Barbara, and Margaret, along with many nephews, nieces, and cousins. June was a devoted mother, grandmother, homemaker, and co-owner of Village Cab. She will be remembered as an attendee of Restoration Centre-Full Gospel Pentecostal Church, an avid bowler, a member of Uhrichsville Moose Ladies Auxiliary, and a fun-loving person who greatly appreciated time with family, cooking, baking, and helping others.
The family will greet guests on Wednesday, March 23, 2022, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at R. K. Lindsey Funeral Home in Dennison, Ohio. Funeral services, officiated by Pastor Sandra Mann, will begin at 1:00 p.m. Private inurnment will be held at Union Cemetery in Uhrichsville, Ohio on a future date.
