Kelly Sue Lawver, age 60, of Tuscarawas, died peacefully, early Wednesday morning, April 6, 2022, surrounded by her family, following a three-year battle with brain cancer.
Born in Twin City Hospital at Dennison on July 1, 1961, Kelly was the daughter of Wallace A. and Judith D. Robinson Goldo of Uhrichsville.
She was a 1979 graduate of Claymont High School and on August 24, 1985, married James P. Lawver together the couple raised two children.
When not caring for her family, Kelly loved traveling and vacationing in the Smoky Mountains and at the beach with family and friends. She also enjoyed decorating her home, spending time on her pontoon boat in the summer months, crafting, caring for her dog, Ozzy, and above all being with her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, Kelly will be deeply missed by her children, Lindsay (Derek Conrad) Gold of Tuscarawas and Kyle (Mikaela) Lawver of Uhrichsville; her grandchildren, Jordan and Ava Conrad, River and Piper Lawver; two sisters, Kathy Gold, and Kim (Kurt) Mahaffey all of Uhrichsville; her mother-in-law, Nancy Lawver of New Philadelphia as well as numerous brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.
A special thank you goes to Kelly’s niece and nephew, Taylor and Logan Mahaffey, who used their expertise in the medical field to assist us in Kelly’s care during her illness.
Kelly was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents, and her father-in-law, Kenneth Lawver.
In keeping with Kelly’s wishes, there will be no public visitation or services. Cremation care will be conducted by the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory in New Philadelphia.
