Kenneth Fouts, age 100, of Washington Township, departed this earthly abode at Park Village New Philadelphia on Monday, July 10, 2023.

Kenny, though not a great singer, loved music and built his own high fidelity sound system for the family.  He instilled the love of music into his subsequent generations.  He built the family house, and had abilities to repair almost anything.  He was a great steward of the land to include beekeeping, tree planting, maintaining blue bird trails after building the boxes, erosion control, mushroom hunting, farming, and teacher of the family to identify trees and wild plants.  Kenny had his ham radio license, drove cars until they were completely worn out to include the tires (to the chagrin of his family), and was an avid collector of many, many things.

Kenny is survived by three children Karen Barnes and Sarah Fouts of Washington Township and Dr. Kenneth Fouts II of Sacramento; five grandchildren Natalie Collins, Emily Collins, Aaron VanVickle, Brian Collins, and Laura (VanVickle) Gray; eleven great-grandchildren Antonio, Lucia and Sofia Rosell; Caden, Claire and Cooper Collins; Ella, Lily, Alice, Beatrice, and Harold Collin Gray.

A service for celebration of Kenny’s life will be hosted by Rev. Mark Unrue at 12 noon, on Saturday, July 15, 2023 at the First Presbyterian Church, 633 N. Main St., Uhrichsville, O., 44683.  Burial will follow at Evergreen Burial Park in New Philadelphia, O.

Calling hours will be from 11 to 12, (one hour prior to services) on Saturday, June 15, 2023, at the church.

The family wishes to express sincere gratitude for Mark Unrue’s pastoral care, Kory Rowland’s and Milana Borojevich’s visits with holy communion, and to all the very loving caregivers at Park Village New Philadelphia.
