Kenneth Leroy Gardner, 85, of Newcomerstown passed away Tuesday, January 10, 2023, at his home. He was born May 17, 1937, to Carl M. and Hazel E. Gardner of Port Washington. Ken (or Brownie, as some family members called him) was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Carol June (Belt); as well as his siblings Carl, May (Hunt), and Janice (Simmerman).
Surviving Ken are 2 sons, Rodney and Allan; and 2 daughters, Abigail and Barbara (Beckett). Also surviving are 4 granddaughters, April (Pancher), Amanda, Grace, and Crystal (Beckett); as well as 2 great-granddaughters and 3 great-great-grandchildren. Kenneth also leaves behind many nieces and nephews.
In keeping with Ken’s wishes, there will be no calling hours. A private burial is being arranged. Those wishing to honor Kenneth are encouraged to make a donation to the Coshocton County Animal Shelter Humane Animal Treatment Association.
