Glory to God. Today I announce the death of my son, Kevin Michael Visher, age 44.

He was the most compassionate, caring and loving person that I have known. I now understand why parents are supposed to go before their children. It is heart-wrenching to lose your child. Kevin graduated in 1997 from Ravenna High School and his hobbies included watching movies and playing video games with his many friends that he met online.

I want to thank my husband, Theodore “Ted” Story, Jr., Kevin’s dad, for being the rock that continues to hold us together in Jesus Christ. Kevin is also survived by me, his loving mother, Ralphia Lynn Story; his father, Keith Paul Visher, Sr.; two brothers, Keith Paul Visher, Jr. and Kyle Matthew Visher; his especially close and very special nephew, David Matthew Visher; his nephew, Brandon Visher; his niece, Courtney Renee Shiree and many aunts and uncles that loved him dearly.

The Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia has been entrusted with Kevin’s care and to honor Kevin, we ask that memorial contributions be directed to Community Hospice – Truman House, 716 Commercial Avenue SW, New Philadelphia, Ohio 44663.
