Kevin Roth, from Gnadenhutten, passed away in Trinity Medical Center surrounded by his children. Born to Phil and Nancy Roth, Kevin is survived by his four children, Cory Roth (Chelsa Williams) of Dover, Casey and Gary Chowns of Georgia, Callie and Brandon Cherry of Arizona, and Clark and Lacey Roth of Gnadenhutten; grandchildren Bayleigh Roth, Owen Roth, Jayden Palacia, Banks Cherry, River Cherry, Keedan Smith, Briggs Roth, Jaydn Davis, and Rhettyn Anderson.  Kevin is also survived by his father Phil Roth, brother Mark (Jill) Roth, and sister Amy (Mark) Somodi, and many nieces and nephews.  Kevin was preceded in death by his mother, Nancy Roth.

Kevin was a 1979 graduate of Indian Valley South High School and the Carpentry Program at Buckeye Career Center. He later in life completed a degree in education at Kent State Tuscarawas Campus. Kevin had many jobs spanning from Superior Clay, Union Camp, teaching carpentry at Buckeye Career Center, teaching shop to kids with special needs through Hiland School System, installing carpentry in Arizona Schools, Roth Construction, and working masonry with his long-time friend, Todd Bonvechio. Kevin’s interests over the years included golfing, fishing, camping, cooking, carpentry, attending Ducks Unlimited banquets, and following NASCAR races.

Kevin was known for his laughter and ornery sense of humor. He will be missed. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Indian Valley Foundation.
