Kyra Belle Bunton, 18 years old of New Philadelphia, Ohio.
Born on July 1, 2007, at Aultman Hospital in Canton, Ohio. She also went by nicknames of Sis, KB and Bebop. She was suddenly taken from us on February 20, 2026 due to a tragic car accident.
Kyra was a senior at Buckeye Career Center, majoring in Business Management. She was employed at the New Phila Discount Drug Mart as a cashier, that had a smile that brightened everybody’s day.
This is not your traditional obituary. We want to reflect on how good of a person Kyra was. If you knew our daughter, you knew she was warm hearted. Always went out of her way to help others without expecting anything in return. She listened with empathy and without judgment. She had a heart of gold. Kyra loved taking pictures, hanging out with friends and her family. Anytime you seen her she always made sure to give hugs and tell you she loved you.
Proceeded in death by her grandpa Bruce Raymond Bunton, grandma Beverly Hostetler.
Survived by grandparents Vivian Jones, Rhonda and John Morris, Peggy Freehahn, Mike Meehan; parents Christi Hostetler, John Bunton; sister Kalynn Hostetler; brother Jeremiah Bunton; great great aunts Lillian and Paul Robb, Michelle Hostetler, Brooke and Keri Meehan, Crystal Bunton Latimer; uncles Bruce Bunton, AJ Hostetler, Ridge Hykes, Sheldon Bunton’ many cousins and friends and a special relationship with her niece Riley Belle.
A memorial service will be held at LifeWay Church, at 742 Cookson Ave. SE, New Philadelphia, Ohio, Friday, February 27, 2026, with Pastor Kevin Anslow at 3:30, calling hours will be one hour prior from 2:30 to 3:30.
Flowers may be sent to LifeWay Church on Friday.
