Laci Shantelle McCue, 37, beloved daughter of Sherry Diann (Stewart) McCue and Larry “Ed” McCue, Jr. of Uhrichsville, with whom she had resided, passed away surrounded by her loving family after bravely fighting Huntington’s Disease for years. She was born February 12, 1986, in Dover and had been a lifelong Twin City resident.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her sons whom she loved dearly, Gunner, Kannen, and Jaxx Willis, and their father, Justin Willis; her brothers, Brian (April) McCauley, Cody McCue, and Steven Byers; stepsisters, Michelle McCue, Miranda McCue, and Mitch (Britt) McCue; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; paternal grandmother, Joe Ann McCue; aunts and uncles, Lynn (Steve) Butler, Shane (fiancée, Dana) Stewart, Les (Liz) McCue, Connie (Brian) Hillyer, and Robin (Ray) Beckett; and a dear friend, Kortnee McKibben. She was preceded in death by her sister, Alexis Strimbu; maternal grandparents, Robert F. Stewart and Jean Stewart; paternal grandfather, Larry E. McCue; uncle, Robert “Mike” Stewart; and aunt, Tammy Fellers.

Laci will be remembered for her devotion to her sons and for her strong fighting spirit as she struggled through such a devastating illness. Her family are grateful to Crossroads Hospice for their care and comfort during her last days. A private family service is planned.
