Historic Schoenbrunn Village is about to open its gates again for visitors to experience the grounds in a different setting.
Site manager Tanner Immel says Schoenbrunn is holding its fall lantern tours from 7:30 to 9:30 pm Friday and Saturday night.
Immel says organizers had to make some changes because of the burn ban while planning for the lantern tours as they will be using electric candles in the luminaries that are on display outside, while fires are still permitted in the cabins.
Activities there will include writing with quills and ink and learning about candle making.
Tickets are required and those can be purchased at the door and at the Ohio History Connection website.
