Larry Lee Webber, age 77, of  Bowerston, Ohio, died suddenly Saturday afternoon, November 16, 2024 in his residence.

He was born July 20, 1947, in Massillon, Ohio and was the son of the late Thomas W. and Elsie E. (Kimmel) Webber.  

He was retired from L. J. Smith Stair Systems at Bowerston where he was faithfully employed for 35 years.  He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Navy, having served in the Mobile Riverine Force during the Viet Nam Era, and regularly attended annual reunions of the MRF..  He attended Faith Christian Church at New Philadelphia with his family. He was a member of the Scio American Legion and was also a member of the former Bowerston American Legion. He loved to cycle the Conotton Creek Trail and served regularly as the go-to “Family Taxi”.  He reveled in the company of his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. 

He is survived by his wife, Beverly R.  (Beckley) Webber, whom he married July 28, 1974, his four children Don (Jeannie) Shuss of Uhrichsville, OH,  Jessica Shuss of Bowerston,  Joe (Molly) Webber of Sherrodsville, OH, and Rhonda  Webber of Jewett, OH, a brother, Richard (Joan) Webber of Clyde, OH, his six grandchildren Mrs. Santanna (Joey) Dotson and Dakota (Taylor) Shuss, both of Uhrichsville,  Justin (Karrington) Webber of Dover, OH, Kaden Webber, currently serving in the U.S. Navy and stationed in Norfolk, VA, Jade Shreffler of Bolivar, OH,  and Mackenzie Biechler of Midvale, OH,  and his four great-grandchildren, Brentlee, Dalton, Harper, and Adelyn.

Calling hours will be held Thursday, November 21, 2024, from 4:00 until 7:00 P.M. in the Baxter-Gardner Funeral Home at Sherrodsville. No formal funeral service will be observed. Interment of his ashes will follow at a later date in the Sherrodsville Memorial Gardens.  Contributions in Larry’s memory may be made to SAVE22, 2044 Brenner Road N.E., Carrollton, Ohio 44615.
