A Retired US Navy Rear Admiral will speak this Thursday at the Performing Arts Center at Kent State Tuscarawas.

Tickets for the 10am talk are $15, and it’s perfect for all age involvement, points out Wendy Zucal, Director of the Dennison Railroad Depot Museum.

“We really envisioned, when we planned this, having school kids come. Obviously, businesspeople and anyone interested in history. Schools are buying tickets and that’s what we really want to see whether interested in history or honor society, or school council, whatever, we wanted to make sure that they realize they are welcome to come.”

Those attending will hear from Dr. Peter Cressy, says County Commissioner Chris Abbuhl.

“This individual goes all over the United States and talks about leadership, about the leadership style of our history of Lincoln, Washington, Roosevelt, and Churchill, and how important that is to be able to have that type of leadership today. It’s still relevant today as it was almost 250 years ago.”

Tickets can be purchased at www.kent.edu/tuscpac.
