LeRoy Elliott III, 68, of Newcomerstown, passed away on Sunday, April 2, 2023, in Columbus. He was born April 17, 1954 in Dover to the late LeRoy Elliott II and Beatrice (Rife) Elliott.
LeRoy was a truck driver and owned and operated Elliott & Sons in Newport Richey, Fl. He came back in 2006 and continued the business in Ohio working until 2015. LeRoy loved riding his Harley with his friends and daughter, Charity.
He loved and adored his grandkids. They were his life, along with his weiner dog, Daisy. He loved to joke and make people laugh, watching westerns and football, collecting guns and spending time with family. He also loved playing Texas Holdem.
LeRoy is survived by his wife, Tanya (Nelson) Elliott, whom he has been married to for over 45 years. He is also survived by his three children, Christina Lengyel of New Albany, Graig Harbold Jr. (Trisha) of Newcomerstown, and Charity Lacare of Newcomerstown; grandchildren, Justyn, Christopher, Josh, Nick, Koti, Logan, Devan, Victoria, Katlyn, Seth and Chase; great-grandchildren, Brooklynn, Sophia, Preston, Natalie and Melina; and his sister, Diana Elliott. He was preceded in death by his son, LeRoy Elliott IV (Terrin); grandchildren, Addison, Aeriel, Abagail, and Alyssa; his brothers, Vernon, Steven, and Bruce.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 12, 2023, from 1 to 3 pm and 5 to 7 pm at Addy Funeral Home, Newcomerstown.
