Leslie J. Wells, 70, of Canton passed away at Cleveland Clinic Mercy Medical Center in Canton on Friday, January 13, 2023.
Born on May 10, 1952, in Dover, she was the daughter of the late Bruce and June (Watkins) Hardesty. She was preceded in death by her sister, Susan Dempsey.
Leslie graduated from Jackson High School. She was a member of the Trinity Gospel Temple in Canton.
She enjoyed gardening, cooking, and reading. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her son, Scott Wells of Rittman, and her two grandsons, Dakotah and Theron Wells.
A celebration of Leslie’s life will be held at the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory of Dover on Wednesday, January 18, 2023, at 1:00 pm with Pastor David Wing officiating. Friends can call one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Dover Burial Park next to her parents.
