Leslie “Les” Kaser, 82, of Sugarcreek, was granted his wish on Monday, March 25, 2024, to be in Heaven with his son Todd.

He was born in Dover on August 18, 1941, to the late Alfred and Pauline (Reed) Kaser and married Patricia Immel, and would have celebrated 64 years, on April 2, 1960.  She survives.

He enjoyed 29 years as the Curator of Alpine Hills Museum in Sugarcreek. He had a love of Gospel music that led him to learning to play guitar at the age of 65 and the recording of 2 CD’s.

He was proud to be a member of the “Sons of the American Revolution”.

In addition to his wife, Pat; he is survived by his son, Dr. James Kaser of Staten Island, NY and his 2 brothers, Dennis Kaser of Sugarcreek and Ronnie Kaser of Dover.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Todd Kaser and 2 sisters-in-law, Connie Kaser and JoAnne Kaser.

In keeping with Les’ wishes, cremation will take place and a private burial in Union Hill Cemetery will be held at the convenience of the family.  Arrangements are being handled by Smith-Varns Funeral Home in Sugarcreek.
