Lewis E. Riggs Beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother, Uncle and Friend. Son of the late Harry E Riggs and Mary E (Center) Riggs.
Lewis passed away Saturday, March 8, 2025 at the age of 63. He was born May 19, 1961 in Cleveland Ohio. Lewis is survived by his wife Tammy (Sansom) Riggs; a son, Shane E (Kala) Riggs; his daughters, Tabitha (Rob) Paulun and Andrea (Jeffrey) Lapoczka; grandchildren, Destany, Lucas, Angela, JT, Grace, Nigel, Zoey, Dannie, Zayne, Zaryna, and Mia; many special nieces, nephews, and many friends.
Lewis was a self taught musician, beginning a career in a local band at the age of nine, and working in various Cleveland local bands throughout his life.
In later years he served as an STNA who gave care and compassion for the sick and elderly. Lewis was a mentor and confidant to many, teaching his love of music to anyone willing to learn. Lewis lived his life with meaning, an unconditional love of family and friends, and most of all the Lord.
A funeral service will be held for Lewis on Wednesday, March 12, 2025 at the Addy Funeral Home in Newcomerstown at 1:00 pm. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, prior to the service from 10 am to 1 pm at the funeral home. Burial will follow at West Union Gilmore Cemetery.
