Mystery lovers and library supports are invited to an annual fundraiser for the Friends of the Tuscarawas County Public Library.
Board member Steve Shroyer says this year’s mystery brings in the Gelato Gang.
“It is 1943 and they are on their way to Philadelphia, but they happened to get waylaid at a street fair and of course a murder happens and it’s your job to solve it.”
1940’s costumes are encouraged.
Shroyer adds that the event is Saturday March 7th at 6:30pm and another will be on Sunday, March 8th at 1pm. Tickets are $50 per person or $300 for a table of six.
“It is a great little fundraiser. There’s going to be food of course. Roast beef, parsley potatoes, desserts, seven-layer salad, broccoli salad, and chicken alfredo as well. It’s going to be a great time for everyone.”
The dollars raised goes toward the board mission of helping support the needs of the Tuscarawas County Public Library system. Tickets can be purchased by stopping by the main library, in New Philadelphia.
