Linda F. Ebersbach, 70, of Newcomerstown, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 24, 2024, in LifeCare’s Hospice – Truman House at New Philadelphia, following a period of declining health.
Born at Dennison, Linda was the daughter of the late Robert and Dorothy (Johnson) Rank and a graduate of the former Indian Valley South High School at Gnadenhutten.
Throughout her life, Linda brought warmth and joy to her family and those around her with her knack for cooking. She took great pleasure in preparing holiday meals for her family, creating cherished memories that will be forever treasured.
In addition to her culinary talents, Linda had a green thumb and found solace intending to her garden and nurturing beautiful flowers. Her love for gardening reflected the care and tenderness she exuded in all aspects of her life. This is especially true when it came to her grandchildren. They were her pride and joy.
She is survived by her husband, Virgil H. “Junior” Ebersbach of Newcomerstown; her two children, Mike (Sharma) Ebersbach of Newcomerstown and Carrie (Troy) Wrather of Gnadenhutten; five grandchildren, Joel, Corbin and Spencer Ebersbach and Kaylie and Lindsay Wrather.
In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her two sisters, Edna Gallion and Dottie Preston.
In keeping with Linda’s wishes, cremation care has been entrusted to the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia.
