Linda L. Beitzel, age 72, of New Philadelphia passed away Sunday, March 6, 2022, while in the care of Community Hospice’s Truman House at New Philadelphia.
The daughter of the late Gerald and Connie (McIntosh) Beitzel, Linda was born February 27, 1950, in Union Hospital at Dover.
Linda graduated from New Philadelphia High School in 1970.
She never met a stranger. Up until the last few years she enjoyed walking several times a week. She also was an avid reader and enjoyed watching all sports on TV.
Linda is survived by her sister, Karen Welch (Bill Cox) of New Philadelphia; niece, Amy Welch (Angela Greenlee) of New Philadelphia; nephew, John Welch (Paul Sparano) of Uniontown; and several cousins.
In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, James “Jim” Welch
The family will greet guests on Friday, March 11. 2022, from 4:00 -5:30 PM in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia. Private inurnment will be held at East Avenue Cemetery in New Philadelphia.
