Linda L. Ladrach, 83, of Sugarcreek passed away following a period of declining health on Sunday, March 3, 2024, at Community Hospice Truman House in New Philadelphia.

Born on May 30, 1940, in Dover, she was the daughter of the late Donald and Helen (Moomaw) Widder.  She married Robert Ladrach on October 27, 1984.

Linda was a member of the first graduating class of Garaway High School in 1958 and worked at the Sugarcreek Library for 27 years, retiring as the Head Librarian in 2005. She was a member of the Sugarcreek First United Church of Christ, Sugarcreek Lioness Club and was an Emergency Medical Technician for the former Swiss Valley Ambulance for several years.

Linda is survived by her husband Robert; her children Denise (Larry) Shetler of Baltic, Mary (Loren) Prysi of Dundee, Doug Ott of Baltic; step daughters Robin (Jeff) Kaser of Sugarcreek, Tammy (Albert) Guthridge of Baltic brother Brooks (Cathy) Widder of Frederick, Maryland; sister Marcia (Don) Weber of Dover; grandchildren Kelli (Dave) Slivka, Tiffany (Chris) Miller, Sydni Prysi; great grandchildren Ariana and Steven Slivka, Kane and Kohen Miller; step grandchildren Michala (Zach) Burger, Morgan (Lane) Harding, Megan Kaser, Kristian Gutheridge, Korey Gutheridge; step great grandchildren Liam Harding and Valerian Venegas.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her former husband Larry Ladrach; and daughter-in-law Debra Ott.

Funeral services for Linda will be held on Friday, March 8, 2024, at 11:00 am at the First United Church of Christ in Sugarcreek with Pastor Earl Rogers officiating.  Burial will follow at East Lawn Cemetery in Sugarcreek.  Friends may call at the Smith-Varns Funeral Home in Sugarcreek on Thursday, March 7, 2024, from 5-8 pm, and one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday.
