Mary Alice Reporting – Grants have been awarded statewide to support sexual assault survivors.

Governor Mike DeWine announced $4.8 million to be distributed to 25 rape crisis centers and survivor programs.

Among the centers was COMPASS: Sexual Assault Education, Prevention, and Support located in New Philadelphia. They were awarded $71,000.

The Office of Criminal Justice Services (OCJS) administers the grant program, which is funded through the 2021 Family Violence Prevention and Services Act.
