Gwen Rummell Reporting –

The Friends of the Homeless of Tuscarawas County announced a logo contest for their new building to honor their founder, Jack Ream.

The facility in the works will be known as “Jack’s House of Hope.” The organization is asking for logo submissions that reflect the concept that Friends of the Homeless is a source of hope for families and individuals who wish to achieve stability, sobriety, and permanent housing.

An original, simple design with the name “Jack’s House of Hope” should be submitted on 8.5×11 inch paper, hand drawn or computer-aided. The back of the paper should include the name, email, street address, and phone number of the individual submitting the entry.

Entries must be sent to the Friends of the Homeless, located at 211 E. High Avenue in New Philadelphia, by April 1st. The chosen entry will receive a $400 award.

The organization notes that the logo selected will become the sole property of the Friends of the Homeless; Jack’s House of Hope.
