Marilyn D. Eggleston, 73 of Port Washington, previously of Newcomerstown, passed away peacefully on March 5, 2025 at Community Hospice Truman House.
Marilyn was born on December 9, 1951, in Cambridge to the late Ralph K. Casterline and Doris M. (Forney) Fogle. She loved to play cards. She also enjoyed bird watching, and especially loved hummingbirds. Marilyn loved playing with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was an amazing cook and loved cooking for her family and friends.
She is survived by her loving husband of fifty-one years Cyrus “Sonny” Eggleston, whom she married on April 26, 1974; her children Tina (Dale) Brandon and April (Mike) Ratliff; her grandchildren Shelby Eggleston, and Tance Brandon; her great-grandchildren Michael and Sophie; her siblings Robert (Martha) Casterline of Newcomerstown, Ronald (Millie) Casterline of Coshocton and Carol (Gary) Loos of West Lafayette; her best friends Deb Neighbor and Pam McCrone; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents.
Per Marilyn’s wishes, a cremation will take place. There are no scheduled services at this time.
