Marilyn K. Dennis, 90, of New Philadelphia passed away on Monday, June 7, 2021 at Community Hospice House in New Philadelphia following a short illness.
She was born in Sugarcreek on October 4, 1930 to the late Galen and Ruth (Henderson) Zahner.
She had worked at the former Owens-Illinois Company in Berlin.
She was attending Winfield United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her children, Rita (Skip) LeMay of New Philadelphia and Robin (Jennifer) Miller of Sugarcreek; grandchildren, Kris (Thelma) Hershberger and Jessica (Tyler) Chisler; and great grandchildren, Emily (Jacob) Lam, Kinsey Hershberger, Clay Hershberger, Lucian Garcias-Miller and Yovani Lopez.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandson Francisco Pedro.
Private family services will be held on Wednesday, June 9, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Smith-Varns Funeral Home in Sugarcreek with Pastors Tom Fish and Barb DeBord officiating. Burial will be in East Lawn Cemetery.
