Marilyn Lee Harrold, 90, of Dover, passed away peacefully on November 9, 2025, at Park Village South, surrounded by her loving family.
Born on September 5, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Josephine (Weigand) Lahmers Sr. Marilyn was a proud graduate of Dover High School and dedicated many years to working as a secretary for Winesburg Poultry Processing, which later became Case Farms. Her commitment, warmth, and strong work ethic made her a valued part of the company and a trusted friend to many colleagues.
Marilyn married the love of her life, Roy D. Harrold, with whom she shared 46 wonderful years of marriage before his passing on August 31, 2001. Together, they built a life centered around faith, family, and community.
She was a devoted member of Union Hill Church of Sugarcreek and took great pride in her involvement with the Tuscarawas County Pork Producers and the Tuscarawas County Cattleman’s Association. Marilyn enjoyed farm life, cherished her community connections, and will be remembered for her kindness, steadfast spirit, and deep love for those around her.
In addition to her parents and husband, Marilyn was preceded in death by her grandson, Scott Graham; her brother, Raymond “Bud” (Helen) Lahmers Jr.; her sister, Nancy (Clyde) “Bud” Levengood; and her brothers-in-law, Walter (Alice) Harrold and Delon Miller.
Marilyn leaves behind her children; Bonnie (Robert) Slagle of New Philadelphia, Becky (Brian) Graham of Sugarcreek, and Roy Harrold (Shawna Koch and her daughter, Isabella Koch) of Dover; grandchildren, Rob (Nicole) Slagle of New Philadelphia, Matthew (Morgan) Graham of Stone Creek, Heather (Tony) Kinsey of West Lafayette, and Tessa Harrold of Dover; great-grandchildren, Hannah Slagle, Kylie (David) Slagle, Reese Graham, Haylee Kinsey, and Andrew Kinsey; her sister, Linda (James) Kilgore; her sister in-law, Pauline Miller; along with many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at the Union Hill Church of Sugarcreek on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at 11:00 am with Pastor Jeff Calkins officiating.
