Mark Spillman, 66 of Bolivar, passed away Wednesday, August 3, 2022, in The Inn of Northwood at Dover surrounded by his loving family.
Born March 18, 1956, in Canton, Ohio, Mark was the son of the late Charles and Freda (McCune) Spillman. Mark was a passionate grain farmer and spent many hours on his family farm. He also enjoyed pulling his antique John Deere tractor, but his biggest joy was watching his boys play their sports. He made sure that he never missed their activities as they were growing up.
On June 28, 1980, Mark married his wife, Wendy (Yoder) who survives. Also surviving are his sons, David (Katie) Spillman, Matt (Jenn) Spillman, and Steven (Courtney) Spillman all of Bolivar; his grandchildren, Logan, Riley, Avery, Dalton, Savannah, and Ethan; and his brothers, Kirk (Lori) Spillman of Zoar and Eric (Nancy) Spillman of Bolivar.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, August 7, 2022, from 4 to 7 PM, and one hour prior to the funeral service in the Geib Funeral Home at Dover. Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 8, 2022, at 10:30 AM in the funeral home with Pastor Jack Pancher officiating. Burial will follow in Ft. Laurens Cemetery at Bolivar.
