Mary Ann (Rauzi) Foote, 81, of Gnadenhutten died at home on Friday afternoon of August 19, 2022.

She is a daughter of the late Carlos “Carl” and Edna I. (Hooker) Rauzi and was born on March 25, 1941, at home in Riverside, Ohio. Mary Ann graduated from Gnadenhutten High School in 1959 and later that year she married the late James Francis Foote on September 12, 1959. They spent forty-eight years together before his death on May 9, 2008

Also preceding are a son Keith Foote, a daughter Tammy Foote, and a brother Carl Rauzi.

Surviving is two children: Jami (Bruce) Parrish of Gnadenhutten, and James “Buddy” (companion Barbara Tate) Foote of Dennison; three grandchildren: Ryan (Megan) Parrish, Amanda (Nelson) Mast, and Joshua (Elaine) Irwin; seven great-grandchildren, three siblings: Helen (Tom) Lawerence, John Rauzi, and Art Rauzi.

Mary Ann loved to read, was crazy about her dogs, and enjoyed every moment spent with her grandchildren.

Calling hours and a funeral service will be held for Mary Ann on Tuesday, August 23, 2022, at Koch Funeral Home of Gnadenhutten, 244 N. Walnut St., Gnadenhutten, Ohio 44629. Calling hours will be from 12:00 P.M. to 1:00 P.M. with the service officiated by Pastor Dave Geyer starting at 1:00 P.M. Burial will follow in the Gnadenhutten-Clay Union Cemetery.
