Mary E. “Libby” Howes, age 82, of 33007 West Main Street, Piedmont, Ohio 43983 died in her home on Saturday, March 26, 2022.
She was born November 9, 1939, in Parkersburg, West Virginia; the daughter of the late William Theodore Legg and Waneta Mae Lee.
Libby was a Tallmadge High School graduate and worked as a secretary for Brunswick Recreation Centers for seventeen years.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 39 years, James.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law: Cassie & Bob Davis of Twin Falls, Idaho; daughter-in-law: Melody, three grandchildren: Nate, Anastasia, and Alicia; one great-granddaughter; three step-grandchildren; Brother-in-law and sisters-in-law: Bill, Rose, and Carol Howes; nieces and nephews: Tammy & Garth Kennedy, Michelle Iseri & Ray, Mike & Caren Howes Kelly Boyd, Vicki Daugherty, Jim & Debbie Misock, John, Eddie & Andy Howes, Mary Barbara Tierney, Liz Harris, and Sharlyn Stafford; and her loving friend, Rhonda Baker, as well as many other great friends in Piedmont.
In addition to her parents and husband, Libby was preceded in death by her son: David, brother: Ralph, and her sister: Charlotte.
Following her wishes, she was cremated.
