Mary Lou Aston, 84, of New Philadelphia, passed away peacefully in the Community Hospice Truman House on April 29, 2023.
Born in Shanesville on August 25, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Esther Elizabeth (Schnitzer) Von Allman.
Mary Lou graduated from Dover High School in 1957. She ultimately retired with Waldenmyer where she cared for the grounds of the apartments and served the tenants in the buildings.
She was a talented sewer and also enjoyed tending to her flowers.
Mary Lou is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Rich Burrier of Port Washington; her sister, Rose Brinkman of Bolivar; her sisters-in-law, Mary and Janet Von Allman both of Dover; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Mary Lou was preceded in death by her brothers, Clarence, Gene, and Carl Von Allman and Maynard Hummel.
No public visitation or services are scheduled.
