Mary M. Cross, 81, of Newcomerstown, passed away on Thursday, February 1, 2024, at Riverside Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Newcomerstown. She was born September 20, 1942, in Newcomerstown to the late Clarence Gadd Jr. and Faye M. (Yoho) Kenney.Mary graduated from Newcomerstown High School. She worked as a Cardiologist Technician at Union Hospital for over 30 years. Mary attended Higher Calling Ministries in Newcomerstown.
She married Robert “Bones” Cross, and they were married for over 50 years until he passed away on October 12, 2016. Mary is survived by her daughter, Tracy E. Cross (Emanuel Miller) of Newcomerstown; a special cousin, Kathy McNutt of Newcomerstown; and her brother, John (Ronda) Kenney of Newcomerstown. In addition to her parents and husband, Mary was preceded in death by her two sisters, Sue Miller and Roberta Green; and her brother, Danny Gadd.
A private graveside service will be held at West Lawn Cemetery, Newcomerstown.
