The registration deadline to cast a vote in the May primary is approaching.

Tuscarawas County Board of Elections Director David Johnson says registration can be done online at www.boe.ohio.gov/tuscarawas or by stopping at the BOE office.

“Our office will be open from 8am to 9pm. It is the last day to receive a registration for anyone to participate in the May 5th election. They would just have to fill out the form completely. Just double check their work before they turn it in.”

The ballot will feature state races like governor and lieutenant governor, along with United States Senator, Ohio Attorney General, auditor of State, along with secretary and treasurer of state.

Local races include House of Representatives District 51, 6th congressional district, county auditor and common pleas court judge.
