Mary Alice Reporting –
Based upon accusations of three patients, a local doctor has had his license or certificate suspended by the State Medical Board of Ohio.
A notice of the suspension was sent out to David Hartman, whose practice is in Dover, in early August with the board noting, in an obtained letter, that the “practice presents a danger of immediate and serious harm to the public.”
The document states that from about 2016 through January 2023, Hartman had provided treatment or care at his office to three patients and that they were inappropriately treated or that Hartman had failed to document the treatment.
As part of the complaints, it alleged that Hartman made inappropriate comments.
Under the Ohio Revised Code, Hartman is entitled to a hearing concerning these matters. That request must be sent to the Ohio Medical Board no later than September 9th.
If no request is made, the Board may determine whether or not to limit, revoke, or suspend the doctor’s license or certificate, or refuse to reinstate.
