Tuscarawas County’s treasurer is stepping down, and the Democratic Central Committee is calling a meeting to fill the unexpired term.
Jeffrey Mamarella submitted his resignation effective October 5th.
Chair Martha Campbell will call the meeting to order on October 20th at 6pm from Democratic Headquarters, located on Monroe Street in New Philadelphia.
Campbell says this position is open to any registered democrat residing in Tuscarawas County.
Applicants are asked to provide a resume 24 hours prior to the meeting at tuscdems@gmail.com or by mail to Tuscarawas County Democratic Party, PO Box 524, New Philadelphia, OH 44663.
Those interested are also encouraged to attend the Tuesday meeting.
The person selected will serve through August 31, 2029.
