Melanie “Sue” Farrell, 61, of Freeport, passed away on April 12, 2024, in Canton. She was born January 19, 1963, in Franklin, PA to the late Richard McFarland and Roberta (Young) Farrell, and was raised by her stepfather, the late David Farrell. Sue loved to go to bingo and spend lots of time with her grandkids.
She was married to Anthony Miller, her soulmate of over 42 years, until he passed away in March of 2021.
She is survived by her son, Charles Miller (Sara Thomas) of Newcomerstown; her daughter, Chyenne Miller of Freeport; her grandchildren, Harley, Breezi, Hunter, Katey, Damion, Heaven, Charlie, Hope, Maddie, Layla, Wyatt, and Abri; her great-grandchildren, Mia and Gus; her father-in-law, who was like a father to her, Charles Miller; her siblings, Debbie (Buddy), Tammi, Billy, Mike, Jason (Angie), Bill (Debbie), Ronnie (Connie), Cheyenne (Bobby), and Dyan; many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her brother, Richard McFarland and her mother-in-law, who was like a mother to her, Juanita Miller.
Visitation for Sue will be held on Saturday, April 20, 2024, from 2 to 4 pm at the Addy Funeral Home in Newcomerstown. Beginning at 3 pm, family and friends can start sharing their favorite stories and memories of Sue.
