Nick McWilliams reporting – Work is scheduled for Friday on I-77 outside Newcomerstown, one mile south of Exit 65.

A utility line installation is scheduled for 11 a.m., and is expected to take roughly an hour. The work zone is near the overpass along the Tuscarawas River.

During the work, the Ohio State Highway Patrol will have rolling roadblocks to allow the contractor to install the overheard fiber optic cables over the interstate.

Each roadblock is expected to last roughly 15 minutes, and anyone traveling in the area Friday morning is asked to plan accordingly.

Drivers are also asked to remain vigilant for workers in the area and for the roadblocks by OSP troopers.
