Mildred A. “Millie” Schwab, 94, of Newcomerstown, went to be with the Lord on Friday, July 5, 2025 at Trinity Twin City Medical Center.
Born in Stone Creek on May 28, 1932, she was the daughter of the late John A. and Eunice Wilma (Miller) Brown.
Millie served as a therapy aide with Country Club Retirement Center for 10 years. Additionally, Millie was a member of the Eastern Star and the Missionaries Church group. In her later years, Millie was very involved with the Tuscarawas County Senior Center, where she was past president.
She was a faithful member of Calvary Methodist Church of Newcomerstown where she participated in a variety of activities.
Millie is survived by her son, David Schwab of Newcomerstown and her daughter, Robin Ann Schwab of Uhrichsville.
In addition to her parents, Millie was preceded in passing by her husband of 46 years, Clarence E. “Bud” Schwab on November 29, 2001, two sisters and one brother.
A private graveside service will be held in Stone Creek Cemetery.
