Montford K. “Monty” Case, 83, of New Philadelphia passed away on Tuesday, October 24, 2023 in the New Dawn Retirement Community, Dover.
He was born on October 25, 1939 in Green Township, Ohio and was a son of the late Edward and Osa Smith Case. Monty was also preceded in death by his son, Ricky Case; three sisters and three brothers.
He had worked for Michigan Sewer Pipe in Gnadenhutten, was a custodian at the First Moravian Church in Dover and retired from OSS Inc. at Gradall in December of 2014 after 15 years of service.
Monty proudly served his country with the United States Army from 1956 to 1959 and attended the Bethel Worship Center in Uhrichsville. He is survived by his children, Randy and Darla Case; brother, Cloyd (Janet) Case; sister, Darlene Abel; grandson, Ryan Case; many nieces and nephews, including Janet Wickline and Sandy Sheller; and his many Gradall friends.
Cremation has been entrusted to the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory at Dover. There are no services or calling hours.
