A motorcycle rider is in critical condition following a Saturday crash.
The New Philadelphia Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol was called to Tabor Ridge Road around 3:30pm.
They determined that the driver of a 1997 Harley Davidson Electra Glide was negotiating a curve but went left of center and off the side of the road. The motorcycle overturned.
The 66-year-old Louisville man was transported by ambulance to Union Hospital but later take to Akron General with unknown but critical injuries.
Alcohol is not a suspected factor. The rider was not wearing a helmet. The single-vehicle crash remains under investigation.
