Conversation and songs are the theme for Sunday’s event at the Performing Arts Center at Kent State Tuscarawas.

The 7:30pm performance features two individuals who will play off of each other through music and storytelling.

PAC Manager David Mitchell says the event is one of six dates these to artists will be on stage together.

“Lyle Lovett and Leo Kottke, coming to town, they’re doing a duo concert. So, just two guys on stage with acoustic guitars, telling some stories, playing some great music.”

Lovett has a career spanning 14 albums with songs infusing elements of country, jazz, swing, folk, gospel, and blues.

Kottke is an acoustic guitarist who picked up the instrument at age 11. He served in the Navy and then followed his music passion and was signed to a label before securing a production deal.
