Nancy Anna Bose, 67, of Uhrichsville passed away on August 25, 2023 after battling chronic illness. She was born December 17, 1955. Nancy was a daughter of the late James Edward and Betty Willene (Addleman) Treacle and is also preceded in death by her parents-in-law, Marvin and Dorothy Hartung.
Nancy graduated from Claymont in 1974. She was very active in the Buckeye Council of Boy Scouts of America, where she was commissioner and day camp director. Nancy was awarded her highest honors the Silver Beaver Award and the Wood Badge, both of which she was very proud. Nancy was a creative person, always baking and doing crafts, but she most of all loved time spent with her nieces and nephews. She was a member of the Uhrichsville First Moravian Church.
On February 21, 1981, she married Gregory Noel Bose who survives her. Also surviving are her siblings, William (Shirley) Treacle, Robert Treacle, Edwina Varela, and James (Joann) Treacle; brothers-in-law, Herbert Bose, Jeffrey (Julie) Hartung, and sister-in-law, Dawn Hartung; several nieces and nephews; and her canine companions, Nancy, Kiwi, Mimi, and Ellie who is now deceased.
Services for Nancy officiated by Pastor Dave Geyer will be held on Thursday at 1:00 pm at R.K. Lindsey Funeral Home in Dennison. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior from 12:00 am to 1:00 pm. Burial will follow in Ridgecrest Memory Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to Uhrichsville First Moravian Church and Boy Scouts of America.
