New Effort Brings Local Museums Together

Local historical sites and attractions are now joining together to share resources and ideas to better serve the community.

About a dozen area locations are part of this new effort called the Tuscarawas County Museum Association.

Historic Zoar Village site Director Tammi Shrum is the President of the new association and says the partnership can help all who are involved.

Shrum got the idea as the museums started meeting to discuss ways to locally get involved with America’s 250th Birthday celebration next year.

The Tuscarawas County Museum Association will meet quarterly.
