Mary Alice Reporting –

A new kiddie ride has been installed at Tuscora Park, in New Philadelphia, and more will arrive soon.

The location along the midway became available following the non-sale of batting machinery and the subsequent demolition of the batting cages, concrete walls, and pitching machines.

A new ride has now gone up at the park, which was acquired from a carnival operator in Michigan, says Mayor Joel Day.

“Publically thank the Geib Family Foundation for its donation of $10,000 to offset expenses for the acquisition and installation of a new children’s Ferris wheel on the Tuscora Park midway.”

In addition, delivery of a new train is expected by mid to late June after RTY Inc. traded the older model with an operator for three additional rides that will be installed along the midway in the future.
