The 69th annual Miss Clayland scholarship program is happening Saturday night at 7 pm at Claymont high school.
Program director Martha Campbell says they have seven young ladies competing for the crown and the chance to then move on to this Miss Ohio competition next June, with 63-hundred dollars in scholarships being awarded.
Campbell says since she’s been director, five of the Miss Clayland winners have also gone on to become Miss Ohio.
Tickets for Saturday night’s program are 10 dollars each at the door.
