The New Philadelphia Health Department will be spraying for mosquitoes on Thursday night.
The control effort will be in two locations: Goshen Township and on the east side of New Philadelphia along East High Avenue around KSU Tusc.
Environmental Health Director Zachary Phillips says the spraying is in response to high mosquito counts and public complaints.
Spraying is expected to start at 8:45 p.m.
Health officials say people with respiratory problems should take appropriate actions. Rain or high winds could delay the spraying.
