Residents curious about blood glucose, HDL, LDL, and other numbers can attend a health check on March 9th.
Online appointments can be made now at www.newphiladelphiarotary.com and the cost is $55 per person for the blood profile. An optional PSA and A1C tests are an additional $15.
The comprehensive screening will be at Springvale Health Center, at 204 S. Bellevue Avenue, in Dover.
Elements of the blood profile include a cholesterol Lipid Panel for HDL, LDL, and triglycerides, a Comprehensive Metabolic Panel (CMP) for kidney and liver function and blood glucose, a Complete Blood Count (CBC) tests for anemia, infection and immunity, and a TSH to measure thyroid function.
Appointment can be made between 6am and 11am, and can made by call the Health Center at 330-313-2907.
A printed lab report will be mailed within two weeks of the event.
