Mary Alice Reporting –

At the end of the year three New Philadelphia City School Board members will no longer be serving and they were recognized.

During the Board of Education’s Monday meeting, Superintendent Amy Wentworth took a moment to honor three members who have spent multiple years serving the district.

Dr. Dan Fuller began serving January 2020, and Dave Frantz and Chris Weaver have been on the board since January 2008.

“Serving on the board is often a thankless job. I have personally witnessed these gentlemen time and time again make very tough decisions. I want to personally thank you for your sacrifice, your commitment, and your willingness to do whatever it takes to help every student achieve their highest potential.”

Taking over the Board of Education seats, at the start of 2024, will be Kelly Ricklic, Jennifer Schrock, and Amanda Fontana.
