Nick McWilliams reporting – The name of a New Philadelphia resident involved in a fatal accident Friday.
The incident occurred on State Route 800 Friday afternoon at 4:12 p.m.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol responded, and determined that 67-year-old Linda Walls was traveling northbound when she went off the right side of the roadway, striking a pair of utility poles and a mailbox, before her vehicle overturned down an embankment, hitting multiple trees.
Walls was pronounced deceased on scene, and was reportedly not wearing a seatbelt.
The crash remains under investigation, with a possible cause yet to be determined.
