Mary Alice Reporting –
More traffic will be in the downtown area of New Philadelphia Friday evening for the annual Christmas parade.
The event creates holiday cheer as Santa is lead through the city by other participants.
The parade will step-off from the park says Mayor Joel Day.
“Steps off from Tuscora Park at 6:30pm, this Friday, December 1st. Don’t forget that the Tuscarawas County Public Library will be serving hot chocolate and cookies plus Santa will be there to visit with the kids.”
Motorists are asked to use cautions in the New Philadelphia area this evening with roads being blocked and more vehicles and pedestrians.
