Doors will open for prospective students, family members, and the community at Buckeye Career Center on March 21st.

The Spring Open House, from 5:30 to 7:30pm, is a combined high school and adult education event.

In addition to the high school programs, Adult Education full-time lab instructors will be in the Joe Carlisle Café to speak with prospective students and community members about adult options, says Public Relations Coordinator Shyanne Carroll.

“That’s the person you’re going to spend four periods a day with for the next two years should you chose to come to Buckeye, most likely. We’re really concentrating on those students who are considering Buckeye Career Center for their junior and senior years of high school. We’ve got over 30 programs so there’s really something for everyone.”

Full-time options include dental assisting, law enforcement training, CDL operator, line worker, medical assisting, wielding technology, and new for 2024-25 is Fire/EMS Technology and Dental assisting programs.

At the Thursday event, an application station will be located in the cafeteria for students to apply that evening. Adults who apply will have the $50 application fee waived.
