
The City of New Philadelphia is ushering in the holidays.
Mayor Joel Day was telling council at Monday night’s meeting it all got underway with Sunday night’s downtown lighting ceremony, with performances by New Philadelphia high school and third grade choirs, dance students form the Lacey PAC Center, percussionists from advocates for success, and many others.
Day says next up will be the city’s annual Christmas parade on Friday, Dec 5th at 6:30 pm, while storybook lane is now open along Al Maloney Drive at Tuscora Park.
The city’s also looking forward to McInturf Realty’s annual Christmas in the Park celebration at Tuscora Park on Sunday, December 14th from 4 pm to 8 pm.
